Star Gymnastics
Star Gymnastics is led by James Boyes who is a former International British gymnast and a High Performance (Level 5) coach in Men’s and Women’s Artistic gymnastics.
James is a Club Coach in General Gymnastics and Pre School gymnastics and has fifteen years experience of running gymnastics clubs. James coordinates a fantastic team
of qualified and experienced coaches who deliver a wide-ranging programme of gymnastics in centres at Coventry, Stratford, Pershore and Chipping Campden.
General Information
All gymnasts should come appropriately dressed to each session. They should wear T-shirt and shorts/tracksuit or leotard and shorts, and should also be barefoot.
Star Gymnastics T-shirts are available to purchase, please see any member of staff for details
Jewellery of any kind is not allowed.
All of our sessions are structured. Please ask if you would like more information about this.
Our terms are similar to local schools: September ~ December, January ~ March, April ~ July.
Fees are payable termly and by cheque only.
You will receive a bill at the end of each term. Place your cheque (payable to Star Gymnastics) and return slip in an envelope with your child's name on it and hand it to the coach in charge of your session before the beginning of each term.
We are happy for you to stay and watch the session from the viewing area. Please could we ask that any waiting children are kept off the equipment (including the mats).
If your child decides he/she does not want to continue gymnastics with us, please let us know.
If you have any comments or questions, please don't hesitate to speak to a member of staff.
Further Information
Support
Your child will be physically supported during sessions by a qualified coach to ensure safety and aid development of gymnastic skills.
Photography
There may be occasions when photographic and video equipment will be used during training sessions and competitions by either an accredited member of the press or a member of staff.
Medical Consent
We ask that you complete a form giving consent for your child to receive emergency medical assistance if necessary.
